Overview

The KSZ8795 EDS2 Daughter Card is designed for evaluation of the Microchip KSZ8795CLX 10/100-Mbit Ethernet Switch when used with a Microchip EDS2 compatible host board. A SODIMM 260-pin connector for the EDS2 Host – KSZ8795 Interface is used due to its high performance, high pin count, and low cost.

  • Microchip MIC2790N Reset supervisor with Reset LED indicator

  • Microchip AC59B05A (MOD0044) PM-LV2 Regulator Module 
  • MDC/MDIO Management Interface
  • Compliant with the SODIMM EDS2 Interface Specification
  • Test points for GPIOs, power rails, and GND
