Overview
The USB Type-C® Adapter is a 2-layer RoHS-compliant printed circuit board (PCB) with USB transmission line and Power Delivery pass-through support. The USB Type-C Adapter is designed to provide developers access to the USB 2 transmission lines, the CC pins, and the USB VBUS. The on-board LED meter provides an approximate voltage level of the USB VBUS of the standard 5V to, ~9V, to ~15V, and up to ~20V. The Sideband Use (SBU) pins are not used by the USB protocol. However, the SBU test points can be used to monitor an Alternate Mode protocol if necessary.
