Overview
The EVB-LAN9668 EDS2 is a modular Ethernet PHY Development System based on the LAN9668 8 Port Ethernet switch. It is intended for evaluation of EDS2 compatible Daughter Cards that connect to one of the two available 260 pin SODIMM connectors. A SODIMM connector is used for the EDS2 Daughter Card connector interface due to its high performance, high pin count, and low cost.

- Microchip ZL30732 DPLL PTP & Sync-E Clock Synchronizer
- Microchip SST26VF016B 16-Mbit Quad SPI Flash
- 8-Gbit (512M x 16) DDR3L SDRAM, 64-Gbit eMMC NAND Flash
- 2 SODIMM EDS2 260-pin PHY Daughter Cards sockets
- USB2-C port for UART terminal console
- USB2-A port for use with a USB flash drive
