Sneak Peek of Our Demos

Demo Description
Sustainability Wall

Discover the future of energy efficiency at our Sustainability Wall, where we showcase a dynamic range of reference solutions built to make homes more energy-efficient and environmentally responsible. Explore our solutions for solar, heat pumps, leak detection, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging, energy metering and storage.

Load Disaggregation by Machine Learning Model

Load disaggregation is the process of breaking down a home's total energy usage into individual appliance level insights. By analyzing patterns from a single measurement point such as a smart meter, this method identifies which devices are running and when. This allows users to better understand their energy consumption without the need for multiple sensors.

Hybrid IoT The hybrid IoT demo uses the complementary advantages of Power Line Communication (PLC) and Radio Frequency (RF) to create a mesh network for smart energy applications. Communication reliability, coverage and scalability are increased with the combination of wired and wireless. Hybrid IoT includes our PL460 narrowband PLC modem and WBZ451 wireless microcontroller (MCU), which enable sensing, signaling, measuring and acting in flexible network configurations. Hybrid IoT also provides a seamless integration path of smart energy applications with already deployed Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions.
Smart Lighting  The smart lighting device powered by the hybrid IoT stack enables reliable, real-time communication over wireless mesh connectivity. This smart lighting demo showcases adaptive lighting control, remote diagnostics and seamless integration into smart grid infrastructures, which shows how hybrid IoT solutions support scalable, secure and resilient urban IoT deployments.
Solar Microinverter This new solar microinverter prototype features reactive power compensation, maximum power point tracking and PLC. This design increases overall system efficiency, enhances grid stability and enables reliable data transmission through existing power lines.
Motor Control, Edge AI Predictive Maintenance Demonstration

This predictive maintenance demo determines load balance/unbalance state by measuring Iq and parameters. A motor unbalance state is simulated by adding weights to the cog. The edge AI model developed using Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) is running on a 16-bit, single-core dsPIC33CK DSC. No external sensors are used.

Smart Gateway This gateway platform features a high-performance, ultra-low-power, CPU-based microprocessor (MPU) with broadband and narrowband PLC. The gateway can be combined with other communication technologies to route traffic between different types of interfaces, including cellular and Ethernet.
Ultra-Low-Power Analog Monitoring This interactive demo showcases how the PIC16F17576 MCU enables continuous analog signal monitoring while the CPU remains in low-power sleep mode. When a user touches the onboard temperature sensor, the system responds instantly with minimal current consumption, visualizing real-time energy efficiency. The demo highlights intelligent analog signal handling with very low energy usage, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered and remote-sensing applications.
5071B Cesium The 5071B primary frequency standard reference has the accuracy and stability you need for laboratory and field applications. A stability specification of 30-day averaging time means the 5071B will keep extremely predictable time and phase for long periods. The 5071B can also be used for long-term averaging of noise signals such as GPS.
TimeProvider® 4100 Series

Critical infrastructure communication networks require highly accurate, resilient and secure IEEE® 1588-compliant grandmasters for precise time and synchronization to avoid interferences and optimize the wireless spectrum. The TimeProvider 4100 series is an innovative and flexible hardware platform with unique differentiating software options and multiple operation modes that you can deploy at core sites, aggregation sites, fronthaul or backhaul.

GridTime™ 3000 GNSS Time Server  The GridTime 3000 GNSS time server is a software-enabled solution that provides redundant, secure and resilient timing for power utility substations. The server generates precise time and frequency signals to synchronize analog and digital communication systems within the substation.
