Radiation-Hardened Isolated DC-DC Converters for Demanding Applications

The SA series of DC-DC converters is available in both triple and single outputs. These devices are designed and qualified for the rigors of space including characterization for both Total Ionizing Dose (TID) and Single Event Effects (SEE). Operating at a fixed frequency of 220 kHz, the SA family of parts can be externally synced with other frequency sources.

Our SA50 and SA15 families of radiation-hardened (rad-hard) DC-DC power converters feature surface-mount component construction to deliver the flexibility and customization necessary to meet your specific application requirements. Available in standard non-hybrid, space-grade configurations with 15W and 50W options, these devices are qualified to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-202 standards. They allow you to leverage proven Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technology for rapid development, minimized risk and reduced time to market.

Eight million hours Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and up to 87% efficiency, the highest of any standard 28V and 120V input space-grade DC-DC power converter
Single-output versions additionally offer remote sense, output voltage adjust and parallel connection functions
SA50 120V input converters have built-in EMI filters
SA50 28V input converters are compatible with our SF100 and SF200 external EMI filters
