Symbol Timing Synchronization

Symbol Timing synchronization block determines the correct sampling instance of the incoming signal at a receiver. Since the wireless receiver does not have prior knowledge of the physical wireless channel or propagation delay associated with the transmitted signal, a timing synchronization block is required to find the correct sampling instance of a symbol. The Rx needs to sample the received sequence at a regular interval of time.
