Bayer_Interpolation

Bayer Interpolation, also known as demosaicing, is a crucial process in digital imaging that reconstructs a full-color image from the incomplete color samples captured by an image sensor overlaid with a Bayer filter. A Bayer filter is a Color Filter Array (CFA) used in most single-chip digital image sensors. It consists of a grid of red, green and blue filters, with twice as many green filters as red or blue to mimic the human eye's greater sensitivity to green light.

Features and Benefits

  • Converts Color Filter Array to RGB using Bilinear Interpolation :
    • Uses Freeman Median Filtering.
    • Supports data width of 8, 10, and 12 bits.
    • Supports 1-pixel and 4-pixel Mode.
  • Interface :
    • Supports Native and AXI4 Stream Video Interface for video data transfer.
    • Supports AXI4-Lite Configuration Interface for updating IP parameters.
