Overview

The amazing Mini-32 from MikroElektronika is a small development board containing a PIC32MX534F064H MCU. It operates on 3.3V power suppy, with an on-board voltage regulator that allows the board to be powered directly from a USB cable.

The Mini-32 is pin compatible with the PIC16F887 and PIC18(L)F45K20 MCUs and fits perfectly into a standard DIP40 socket. It will also fit into a standard breadboard for fast prototyping. The board is equipped with a SMD crystal oscillator, and a 32.768 KHz crystal which can be used for the internal RTCC module. It has a reset button and three signal LEDs. The Mini-32 comes pre-programmed with a fast HID bootloader, so no external programmers are required for development.
