Overview
The LAN8818 EDS2 Daughter Card is designed for evaluation of the Microchip LAN8818 Gigabit Ethernet SGMII/QSGMII PHY when used with a Microchip EVB-LAN9668 EDS2 (EV83E85A) or other compatible host board. A SODIMM 260-pin connector for the EDS2 Host - LAN8818 Interface is used due to its high performance, high pin count, and low cost.
- VC-820-EAE-KAAN-25M0000000 oscillator for 25 MHz
- 2 MHz PWM regulator for 1.1V generation
- Reset supervisor with Reset LED indicator
- I2C Serial EEPROM for board identification
- Quad (2x2) 10/100/1000Mb RJ45 Integrated Connector and Magnetics with LEDs
- MDIO management interface
- 25 MHz crystal clock reference or external 125 MHz differential clock reference
- Test points for all Power rails
- TXP/TXN SMAs for QSGMII signal injection
