Overview
The EV74C12A Development board is a mikroBUS accessory board for evaluating the TA010 CrypotAutomotive Device.. The board can be used to evaluate devices that support either the SWI or I2C interface. The board can readily be used with a Microchip DM32018 Trust platform host board or any MicroController board that supports a mikroBus Interface. For applications where security is provided on both the host and client side, the TA100 has been included for host side security. It is recommended that this board be used with the Microchip CryptoAuthentication Library (CAL) .
- 1 - TA010 Device with an I2C Interface
- 1 - TA010 Device with an SWI Interface
- 1 - TA100 device with both an I2C and SPI interface for applications with host side security requirements
- mikroBUS accessory baord with minimum Size Form Factor
- Pass-Through mikroBUS header to allow for additional mikroBus peripherals
- 3.3V Default Power Connection
- Optional 5V power connection through use of a zero-ohm selection resistor.
- Onboard Red Power Indicator LED
The kit comes only with the EV74C12A Development Board
The EV74C12A is Intended for Use with Other Microchip Hardware and Software

- DM320118 Trust Platform Development Board with Firmware 3.1.0 or Higher
- DM320109 CrypotoAuth Starter Kit + ATM Busadapter with Firmware 3.1.0 or Higher
- Any microcontroller board with a mikroBUS header
Software
- Microchip Trust Platform Development Suite (TPDS)
- Microchip CryptoAuthentication Library (CAL) Required Ver 3.5.1 or Higher
- Microchip CryptoAuthentication Library (Python) Required Ver 20230326 or HIgher
- Python Version 3.8.0 or later.
