Overview
The EVB-LAN8870-EDS2 Daughter Card is designed for evaluation of the Microchip LAN8870 100BASE-T1/1000BASE-T1 PHY through an automotive Ethernet connector for 100BASE-T1/1000BASE-T1 applications when used with a Microchip EDS2 compatible host board. The board utilizes SODIMM 260-pin connector for the EDS2 Host – LAN8870 EDS2 Daughter Card Interface for RGMII communication due to its high performance, high pin count, and low cost.
