Overview
The PIC32CM SG Curiosity Pro provides a hardware development platfrom for our new PIC32CM SG Series of Microcontrollers.
The PIC32CM SG series of Microcontrollers is our latest Arm® Cortex®-M23 Microcontroller with an integrated HSM-Lite Module. The HSM-Lite provides a secure partition with all the cryptographic hardware acceleration, Key Storage, and TRNG for implementing a wide range of Security functionality such as Secure Boot, Secure TLS, Encryption/Decryption, etc. In addition, the PIC32CM SG is ISO 26262 Compliant and offers CAN FD, USB, LIN, I2C, USB, SPI, and USART Communications and well as a Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC.) Users can expand functionality through Arduino Uno R3, Mikroe Bus, or two extension headers with the development kit.
Our MPLAB® Harmony 3 and Crypto V4 Library provides a common set of APIs for security functionality of the PIC32CM SG. Our Trust Platform Design Suite (TPDS) provides tools for provisioning secrets into the dedicated Key Storage of the PIC32CM SG Microcontroller. Both tools are available on Microchip's Website.
The EV53V42A board is subject to all security export restrictions.
