Overview
The EVB-PCI11010 is a demonstration and evaluation platform that provides the necessary requirements and interface options for evaluating the PCI11010, a single-chip PCIe® switch with RGMII/SGMII Ethernet MAC (with IEEE-1588 support) and programmable I/O options (I2C/SPI/UART/GPIO), on a six-layer RoHS-compliant Printed Circuit Board (PCB). This kit allows the user to gain an understanding of the product and accelerate the integration of the PCI11010 into the user’s design.
This evaluation platform includes one (1) downstream PCIe Gen 3 switch port (1 lane * 8 GT/s), an SFP cage allowing for 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps SFP Ethernet transceivers, and implements one (1) channel of RS-232 connectivity. EVB-PCI11010 demonstrates its PCIe, Ethernet, and I2C/SPI/UART/GPIO driver compatibility in Linux® and Microsoft® Windows® 10.
