Overview

The ATSAMR30M Sensor Board is a hardware platform to explore and evaluate the capabilities of the ATSAMR30M18A, a Sub-1 GHz IEEE® 802.15.4™ compliant RF module with an integrated ARM Cortex M0+ MCU with 256KB Flash for application and protocol development. The sensor board supports multiple ready-to-use applications available on Github and in Atmel Studio's Integrated Development Platform (IDP).

Equipped with mikroBUS™ compatible headers, the sensor board is designed to deliver 802.15.4 (700/800/900 MHz) ISM band wireless functionality to numerous Click
board™ based sensors and interfaces.

  • ATSAMR30M18A Module is an IEEE 802.15.4 Compliant Wireless Module for 700/800/900 MHz (1) Applications
    • ATSAMR30E18A (ARM® Cortex® -M0+) System-in-a-Package (SiP) with 256KB Flash / 40KB RAM for Application and protocol support
    • Single-ended RF output through the PCB castellated pad
  • Pre-Loaded with "IEEE 802.15.4 Performance Analyzer" code, an extension of the Studio 7 (Integrated Development Platform)
  • RX sensitivity up to -105dBm
  • TX output power up to 8.7dBm
  • High precision 16 MHz crystal oscillator
  • mikroBUS™ socket
  • On-board PCB Antenna
  • On-board AT30TS75A Digital Temperature Sensor
    • Two wire I2C and SMBus compatible serial interface
  • Footprint Provision for Evaluating CryptoAuthentication™ Device ATECC608A/ATECC508A
