Overview
The Serial Memory I2C Evaluation Kit (DM160237) is an easy-to-use interactive user tool that demonstrates the best-in-class features, functionality and low-power operation of Microchip I2C Serial EEPROM devices. The included software, Memory Xplorer, makes it easy for engineers and developers to configure and evaluate I2C Serial EEPROMs, shortening the overall development time needed to bring new designs from prototype to production.
- Supports Microchip's I2C (2-wire) Interface Protocol
- Uses SCL and SDA to communicate with the device
- Variable Socket VCC Voltage
- Variable from 1.7V to 5.5V
- Controlled via inputs from Memory Xplorer
- Includes Memory Xplorer Software
- Supports Windows® 10 or higher operating systems
- Utilizes USB interface to communicate with user's PC
- Contains AT90USB1287, 8-bit AVR® Microcontroller
- 128KB Flash, 64-pin, USB controller
The Serial Memory I2C Evaluation Kit includes the following:
- I2C Socket Board (02-10727)
- USB Base Board (02-10682)
- Various loose Microchip I2C Serial EEPROM devices
- Information Sheet
- China RoHS Declaration of Conformity
For the Serial Memory I2C Evaluation Kit to function properly, the following hardware and software requirements must be met:
- PC compatible system
- An available USB port on PC
- At least 2 GB of free disk space
- Windows®10 or higher operating systems(1)
Note 1: Testing has been performed on a 64-bit Windows®10 operating system.
