Overview

The MCP1711 Demonstration Board is used to evaluate and demonstrate Microchip Technology’s MCP1711 Ultra-Low Quiscent Current, Capless LDO over a wide input voltage and load range.
The board features two voltage options (1.8V and 3.3V) and two package options (5-Lead SOT-23 and 1x1 UQFN). Test points are provided for input and output, allowing the board to be connected directly to a system. The two LDO’s can be powered and used independently. Header pins are used in order to enable and disable the MCP1711 with either a jumper or an external voltage source.

  • Two Output Voltage Options: 1.8V and 3.3V
  • Two Package Options: SOT23-5 and 1x1 UQFN
  • Ultra Low Quiescent Current of 600nA
  • 150mA Output Current
  • Capless Compatible (1µF capacitor for better transient performance) 
  • EN Input Test Point
  • Input voltage range:   
    • 3.2V to 6V for VR = 1.8V
    • 4V to 6V for VR = 3.3V
