Overview
The 24-bit Pass Through Card is a display daughter card that seats into the Xplained/Curiosity Ultra 67-pin connector. This card will enable MCUs built on this form factor to pass 24-bit RGB color data onto WVGA and smaller displays.
- Passes 24 bit data through to current 4.3” & 5.0” displays.
- Optional MCU ADC based Resistive touch

This will be a bundle of a microcontroller board with a wireless device and an option to connect in a wired fashion to network. This bundle provides a baseline platform to start your development using FreeRTOS and associated security and connectivity libraries provided by Amazon. The Xplained Ultra board also has a provision to connect a security element like ECC6xx device for applications demanding secure connection and key storage. The MCU board can be connected for debug purposes to an MPALB ICD4. The MPLAB X standard development environment supports this device and associated peripherals to reduce development cycle time.

The Microchip maXTouch Curiosity Pro is an extension board for the Xplained Pro platform with a 320x480 RGB LCD and a capacitive touch sensor with a maXTouch controller. The LCD can be controlled using different interfaces, including 3- and 4-wire SPI, Parallel and RGB Parallel interface mode using the DIP-switch to select the interface. The maXTouch Curiosity Pro kit connects to any Curiosity MCU board or Xplained Pro standard extension header, any curiosity Pro or Ultra kit as well as many other Microchip MCU boards using the 20-pin header, but is limited to 3and 4-wire SPI mode. The maXTouch Curiosity Pro also features a standard LCD connector (FFC), which enables use of the parallel interfaces. Both connections feature a SPI interface for the LCD and I2C for the maXTouch device.

The High-Performance WVGA LCD Display Module with maXTouch Technology (AC320005-5) is designed for evaluating the Microchip's graphics display solution and graphics library for 32-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors. This 5-inch display is compatible with both versions of the Multimedia Expansion Board II (DM320005-2 or DM320005-5), as well as with Xplained Pro and Xplained Ultra evaluation kits. This board has a TFT 800 x 480 display with a 24-bit parallel RGB interface with a maXTouch technology capacitive touch interface.
