Overview
FlashPro5 is a compact and easy-to-use programming tool from Microchip Technology designed to program and debug Microchip FPGAs.
It connects to a PC through USB and allows engineers to quickly load designs into supported devices, perform in-system programming, and debug hardware during development. FlashPro5 is used with Microchip development kits and production boards to ensure reliable device configuration.

- FlashPro5 supports SPI slave mode for SmartFusion2 and IGLOO2 — when used with the FlashPro/FlashPro Express software. Refer FlashproExpress User Guide
- For PolarFire device SPI flash programming, FlashPro6 is the recommended tool.
