Overview
EVB-LAN7431-EDS is member of the Microchip EDS family of boards and provides an RGMII or MII interface from a PCIe abstracted host.
EVB-LAN7431-EDS answers our customers requests towards a unified networking development platform. Together with other boards in this series the user can evaluate all aspects of an Ethernet sub system.
Design files including schematics, Gerbers, Bill of Material and the Altium project are all available as a known working starting point for our customers to develop from.
- Single-chip, PCIe 3.1 @ 2.5GT/s to RGMII or MII Networking Controller
- PCIe Low Power Sub States LPSS L1.1 (snooze) & L1.2 (off)
- Compatible with other boards in the Microchip EDS series
- IEEE 1588-2008 Programmable Time Compare output (Eg: 1PPS) via optional SMA connector
- IEEE 1588-2008 Capture input via optional SMA connector
- JTAG via integrated 1149.1 compliant TAP
- Footprint for 802.3 defined MII connector
- Accessible GPIO
Host with a standard PCIe edge connector of at least one lane
