Overview

The RNWF02 Add-on Board is an efficient low-cost development platform to evaluate and demonstrate the features, capabilities and interfaces of our plug-and-play Wi-Fi module, RNWF02PC. This add-on board is compliant to the mikroBUS standard and includes an on-board MCP2200 USB-to-UART converter enabling out-of-box evaluation.

The RNWF02 Add-on Board offers:

  • An easy-to-use platform to speed up design concepts to market with:
    • mikroBUS add-on board header for integration with RTOS and Linux host boards    
    • USB Type-C® interface for immediate evaluation and development on PC
  • Bluetooth® coexistence support with PTA
  • Support for microcontroller (MCU) integration with MPLAB® X Tools and MPLAB Harmony v3 Example Applications
  • Small, low-cost form factor

The RNWF02 Wi-Fi module supports a wide range of applications including:

  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Industrial automation
