Overview
Simplify development with the EVB-VSC7558TSN EDSX paired with 2x LAN8044 EDS-X Daughter Cards. This evaluation kit enables implementation of a 200Gbps 8 port switch providing Eight 25Gbps SFP+ PHY Ports for Optical and Copper (5-meter DAC) connectivity:

- 10GBASE: SR, LR, ER, CR
- 25GBASE: SR, LR, ER, CR, CR-S
The Quad port LAN8044 is the superset device of our 3rd generation Optical PHY product line featuring:
- Cross Connect - Any line port connectible to any host port
- 1:1 and 1+1 Host Redundancy
- High accuracy (<1ns) 1588/SyncE solution
- IEEE1588 and 802.1AS supporting ITU-T G.8273.2 Classes C & D
