Overview

The SAM DA1 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is ideal for evaluating and prototyping with the SAM DA1 ARM® Cortex®-M0+ based microcontrollers. Extension boards to the SAM DA1 Xplained Pro can be purchased individually.

The ATSAMDA1-XPRO evaluation kit does not include extension boards.

The SAM DA1 Xplained Pro supports the I/O1 Xplained Pro, OLED1 Xplained Pro, QT1 and QT4 Xplained Pro and PROTO1 Xplained Pro extension boards.

  • SAMDA1J16B automotive grade microcontroller
  • On-board integrated LIN Transceiver (ATA663231) with built-in 3.3V VREG
  • One mechanical reset button
  • One mechanical user pushbutton - Wake-up, bootloader entry or general purpose
  • One yellow user LED
  • 32.768kHz crystal
  • USB interface, device and reduced host mode
  • 3 Xplained Pro extension headers
  • 1 High Voltage extension header (LIN functionality)
  • Embedded Debugger - Auto-ID for board identification in Atmel Studio. One yellow status LED. One green board power LED. Symbolic debug of complex data types including scope information. Programming and debugging. Data Gateway Interface: SPI, I2C, 4 GPIOs. Virtual COM port (CDC)
  • USB or LIN bus powered
  • Supported with application examples in Atmel Software Framework
