This document will go into great detail about the Active Clock Tuning (ACT) feature present on the PIC16(L)F19195/6/7 family of devices. Through this feature, an extremely high accuracy clock source is able to be achieved with an accuracy of +/- 1.0%. This feature also eliminates the need to add an external high accuracy clock source which can reduce your application size and reduce the cost of your application.
