Each PolarFire® and RT PolarFire® device is equipped with a Temperature and Voltage Sensor (TVS) which reports die temperature within ±10°C. The TVS measurement should be regarded as accurate and considered the most reliable indicator of junction temperature in real world applications. This application note provides experiments validating the accuracy of the on-die TVS for measuring junction temperature.
