Description
This application note describes the design and implementation of the Indoor Air Quality Monitor (AQM) using Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) and intelligent analog peripherals of the ATmega4808 microcontroller (AVR® MCU) featuring the 8-bit AVR processor. Microchip’s CryptoAuthentication™ secure element (ATECC608A) and a fully certified Wi-Fi® module (ATWINC1510) are used to securely connect the smart AQM to the Google Cloud™ IoT Core platform. The firmware is available on GitHub (Indoor Air Quality Monitor – Atmel Studio, and [Indoor Air Quality Monitor – MPLAB ® X|https://github.com/microchip-pic-avr-examples/atmega4808-air-quality-monitor-mplab.git]).
