Modern design topologies allow for granular power control, which LAN7430 and LAN7431 lend itself towards. Automotive applications run too many power states. PCIe Low Power Sub-States, L1.1snooze and L1.2off, provide systems architects with freedom to save power. More traditional states derived from Wake-on-LAN (WoL), Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), and Wake on GPIO are also supported.
