Description
The Hub Feature Controller device connected to the internal port of the Microchip USB253x/USB3x13/USB46x4 family of USB2.0 Hubs allows advanced features such as hub configuration, OTP programing, and I/O bridging. These features can be controlled via the ProTouch2 GUI, ProTouch2 command line interface, or ProTouch2 DLL library (for specialized application specific code development). These features can also be controlled directly using low level USB commands and standard USB drivers if the DLL library is not usable for the given application (such as with MCU host interfaces or alternative operating systems).
