Product Roundup: October 2026

Microchip's Product Roundup features a selection of our latest products, reference designs and software solutions. Explore how these innovative technologies can elevate your next design project.

The 3.3 kV HV-D3 Half-Bridge Gate Driver Reference Design is a dedicated solution for driving Microchip’s 3.3 kV SiC HV-D3 half-bridge power modules in high-voltage, high-power applications, including medium-voltage solid-state transformers (MV-SSTs). It provides 6 kVRMS isolation, a fiber-optic interface, 9A peak source and sink current capability and operation at switching frequencies up to 50 kHz. The design integrates protection features including undervoltage lockout (UVLO), shoot-through protection with minimum dead-time override, and desaturation detection with soft shutdown. These functions help protect the SiC module from overstress during system-level fault conditions and support reliable operation in high-voltage, high-dv/dt environments. The reference design includes complete design and build files, including schematics, PCB layouts, bill of materials and a user guide. These resources help engineers evaluate the 3.3 kV HV-D3 half-bridge SiC module, accelerate gate driver development and reduce time to market for high-power converter systems.

MCP6446/7/9 Nanopower Operational Amplifier Family

The MCP6446/7/9 family of nanopower operational amplifiers combines 500 nA typical quiescent current per amplifier with rail-to-rail input and output operation, helping extend battery life while preserving signal range in always-on and portable systems. The family operates from a 1.4V to 5.5V supply and provides ±2.2 mV maximum input offset voltage, 11 kHz typical gain bandwidth and unity-gain stability. Integrated electromagnetic interference filtering (EMI) supports predictable analog performance in radio-frequency-noisy environments. Designers can choose single- MCP6446, dual- MCP6447 or quad- MCP6449 configurations in compact SC70-5, SOT-23-5, MSOP, SOIC and TSSOP packages. Devices support the −40°C to +125°C temperature range, with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 automotive-qualified options available.

25CSM01 - Next Generation 1-Mbit SPI EEPROM with Enhanced Features

The 25CSM01 is a 1-Mbit SPI Serial EEPROM designed to deliver greater data integrity, protection and traceability than traditional EEPROMs. A factory-programmed, globally unique 128-bit serial number simplifies product serialization and tracking, while a separate 256-byte user-programmable ID page can be permanently write-protected for secure storage of identification or configuration data. For enhanced reliability, built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) corrects single-bit errors and provides status reporting to identify when correction has occurred. Flexible partition-based write protection lets designers independently configure how different regions of memory are protected, while programmable UVLO can automatically inhibit writes during low-voltage conditions to help prevent unintended data changes. These advanced features are optional, allowing the 25CSM01 to retain compatibility with older-generation Serial EEPROM applications while giving designers powerful new capabilities for traceability, reliability and data protection.
