Demo Overview

DemoDescription

Automotive SerDas Alliance Motion Link (ASA-ML) for Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ Platform

This demo shows four Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) cameras connected via ASA-ML to the Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ platform, using our VS775S serializer and VS776Q deserializer devices. It demonstrates readiness of the ASA-ML solution for Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride-based ADAS applications.

dsPIC33A DSC MICROSAR® IO Demo

This demo shows the outcome of our collaboration with Vector Informatik, featuring two Local Interconnect Network (LIN)-connected edge nodes (Motor Control and Lighting) running Vector’s MICROSAR® IO stack.

E-Gate

The E-Gate demo demonstrates secure, contactless access control using facial recognition with liveness detection. A reference electronic gate setup is used to showcase real-time identification and verification, ensuring that only live, authorized individuals are recognized and granted access. The solution prevents spoofing attempts by detecting photos or videos.

All machine learning inference is performed locally on the SAMA7D65, a single-core Arm® Cortex®-A7 microprocessor part of the SAMA7 product line. The custom models are optimized for the device, enabling fast and reliable operation in production environments. This demo highlights the SAMA7D65’s capability to support AI applications for access control, smart buildings and embedded vision.

Post-Quantum Firmware Verification with Embedded Controllers

This demonstrates a Post-Quantum Cryptography solution for secure firmware signing and verification.

Rain-Triggered Greenhouse Automation

This demo features capacitive touch and liquid detection used to trigger motor-based actions. Powered by the PIC32CM GC00 MCU and MTCH9010 liquid detection Integrated Circuit (IC), the system activates mechanisms in real time when rain is detected. Running on Zephyr® RTOS, it highlights scalable solutions for smart agriculture and green infrastructure.

Radiant Heating

Extending EV range and delivering faster comfort are key to staying ahead. Our radiant heating technology makes both possible. With a single-element heating and sensing solution, automakers achieve higher efficiency, lower complexity and reduced cost—all in one innovative design.

Functional Safety Touch Library

Quickly and easily develop touch designs with our complete ISO 26262 functional safety ecosystem. We offer a complete solution covering hardware, diagnostic software and a functional safety library to support all your development needs.

Steering Wheel With Low-Cost Heating and Hands-off Detection (HoD)

Driver assistance systems are now standard in nearly every new vehicle, with features like lane-keeping assist becoming increasingly common. While these systems support the driving experience, they aren't fully autonomous, which allows the driver to take control at any moment for overall safety. Our cost-effective, integrated heating and Hands-off Detection (HoD) solution leverages the steering wheel’s existing heating element for capacitive sensing, which eliminates the need for a separate HoD sensor.

Inductive Position Sensors for Smart Actuators

Rotate, slide and interact with linear and rotary inductive position sensors and see how their position is read by a host processor. The inductive position sensor Integrated Circuits (ICs) provide high-performance solutions for high-reliability and safety-critical automotive position sensor applications. Our magnetic field sensors provide accurate position measurements, are immune to stray magnetic fields and don’t require a magnetic target. This specific demo also highlights the functional safety capabilities of our sensor designs.

Edge AI: Keyword Spotting Solution

Our keyword spotting solution delivers high-accuracy, always-listening voice activation on a low-power microcontroller (MCU), without requiring cloud connectivity or external accelerators. It is optimized for embedded systems that demand long battery life, fast response times and simple integration.

Secure Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) for IoT

This demo highlights secure Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) updates required by the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) using the ECC608 TrustMANAGER secure IC connected to the keySTREAM cloud. Firmware packages are signed in keySTREAM, then verified on-device before installation—ensuring authenticity and integrity.

Low Power Touch Keypad Lock

Our secure, low-power touch keypad showcases the robust touch sensing and responsive embedded control of the PIC32CM PL10. It detects capacitive key presses, validates a PIN and controls a lock with clear LED/buzzer feedback.

Medical Respiratory Machines Demo System

Precise motor control is critical in respiratory equipment—from hospital ventilators to portable home CPAP devices. This demo uses our motor control development board and SAMA7 MPU to drive a real Brushless DC (BLDC) blower motor, simulating actual breathing cycles while a flow sensor measures airway pressure and flow in real time. All data is visualized live on a 10-inch graphic touchscreen powered by our silicon.
