Demo Name

Description

Bluetooth® Gesture-Controlled Robotic Hands

Experience real-time gesture control and wired and wireless bridging on a single MCU with the PIC32 BZ6. In this demo, a camera captures hand gestures that are transmitted wirelessly over Bluetooth® LE, then bridged by the PIC32 BZ6 onto 10BASE‑T1S to drive responsive robotic hands.

E-Gate

Facial recognition is becoming a core interface for secure access, personalization and automation. But cloud-based vision systems introduce latency, privacy risks and ongoing connectivity costs. Our facial recognition with liveness detection solution enables accurate, secure and fully on-device facial recognition, reducing reliance on the cloud.

Our facial recognition solution is provided as a turnkey firmware solution with no model training required. Built-in user enrollment and management streamline system setup, while well-defined interfaces simplify integration into existing embedded applications. Advanced customization is available on request.

Humanoid Robotics Wall

Step inside the future of humanoid robotics and discover the technologies powering the next generation of intelligent machines. Our Humanoid Robotics Wall showcases a broad set of building blocks needed to create advanced humanoid systems, from sense and perception, edge AI and high-performance motor control to power management, secure connectivity and functional safety. Explore how Microchip enables every major subsystem within a humanoid robot, helping developers accelerate innovation from concept to deployment.

In-Vehicle Network (IVN) Demo WallThis In-Vehicle Network (IVN) demo wall showcases a highly integrated, next-generation architecture built utilizing real production hardware from a leading automotive OEM alongside eight unique Microchip products. At the core of the system, a Microchip PCI1003 multi-host PCIe switch dynamically isolates and connects advanced NVIDIA ADAS and IVI SoCs into independent, secure partitions. To handle high-bandwidth visual and sensor data, the architecture incorporates the multi-vendor open standard ASA-ML SerDes chips from Microchip (VS775S and VS776Q) tailored specifically for the ADAS cameras. The network's backbone is unified by a zonal Ethernet switch featuring the VelocityDRIVE™ Ethernet Switch Configuration Tool, which seamlessly bridges to multiple 10BASE-T1S edge endpoints (LAN866x). These edge endpoints are efficiently managed and driven via a remote-control protocol originating directly from the central compute unit, demonstrating a scalable, low-latency, and highly advanced automotive network topology.
Kudelski Labs KLARQ: Securing Autonomous Robotics at the EdgeMeet KLARQ, Kudelski Labs' autonomous robot dog, and see a live demonstration of how embedded security underpins the future of Edge AI. Powered by Kudelski Labs' AI-accelerated security stack and the Axelera Metis AI Processing Unit, KLARQ patrols autonomously and uses real-time, on-device AI inference to analyze its surroundings in real-time, detect objects, recognize authorized faces and respond to threats. From secure activation and firmware-integrity checks through to an AI-driven safety "kill switch", KLARQ shows how trust can be integrated from silicon to lifecycle, proving that security must be foundational, not an afterthought, for next-generation connected products and autonomous AI systems.
PolarFire® FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge for NVIDIA® Holoscan

Connect high-speed sensors to NVIDIA® Holoscan platforms with the PolarFire® FPGA Ethernet Sensor Bridge, a flexible solution for next-generation edge AI applications. Supporting up to four MIPI® CSI-2 camera inputs and dual 10GbE SFP+ Ethernet ports, it delivers high-bandwidth, low-latency streaming to NVIDIA Jetson™ AGX Orin™ and IGX systems.

By separating sensor interfaces from the AI compute platform, developers can rapidly prototype and deploy robotics, industrial automation, medical imaging and intelligent vision applications without redesigning the underlying architecture. Powered by the low-power PolarFire FPGA, the platform provides deterministic performance, real-time sensor aggregation and the flexibility to support additional high-speed sensor interfaces.

Combining four synchronized camera inputs, dual 10GbE networking and integrated NVIDIA Holoscan, the PolarFire Ethernet Sensor Bridge is designed to help reduce development complexity, accelerate time to market and provide a scalable, production-ready platform for advanced AI vision systems.
