Summary

Microchip's dsPIC33EPXXGS808-ET PIC® microcontroller (MCU) brings the automotive-leading core with PWM capabilities to the extended-temperature industry.  The dsPIC33EPXXGS808-ET MCU is designed for increased reliability in critical extended-temperature applications.  It takes advantage of the mature Microchip tools which have been used in designs for the mass market worldwide.  dsPIC33EPXXGS808-ET is a SMPS & Digital Power Conversion Digital Signal Controller, which includes features supporting common, multi-loop digital switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and other digital power-conversion applications, such as:

• AC to DC Converters
• DC to DC Converters
• Power Factor Correction (PFC)
• Uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
• Inverters
• Embedded Power-Supply Controllers
• Arc Fault Detection

  • Two digital comparators, two oversampling filters for increased resolution
  • Four Rail-to-Rail Comparators with Dedicated 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)
  • Two Programmable Gain Amplifiers, with 40 MHz gain bandwidth and selectable gains (4x-64x)
  • Five 16-Bit and up to two 32-Bit Timers/Counters
  • Four Output Compare (OC) modules, Configurable as Timers/Counters
  • Four Input Capture (IC) modules
