Device Overview

Summary

The SM806xxx is a PLL clock generator that achieves ultra-low phase jitter (78 fs 12KHz to 20 MHz). With six total outputs and dividers on each output, this device can generate six different frequencies up to 875 MHz, from a low-cost quartz crystal or a reference clock input. Each of the six outputs can be independently programmed to LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL.

The SM806xxx is packaged in a 48-pin VQFN with up to six outputs or a 24-pin VQFN with two outputs.


Create an application specific part and order samples with the CLOCKWORKS CONFIGURATOR tool.

  • Crystal: 32.5MHz to 156.25MHz
  • Reference input: 11MHz to 80MHz
  • No external crystal oscillator capacitors required
  • 2.5V or 3.3V operating power supply
  • Available in Industrial Temperature range
  • Available in Green, RoHS, and PFOS compliant QFN packages:
    • 48-pin 7mm x 7mm
    • 24-pin 4mm x 4mm
