Serial SRAM Overview
Recording Date: 01/27/2009
Duration: 15 min
RAM memory is required in most embedded applications. RAM is available on virtually all microcontrollers as well as in stand-alone parallel RAM. Microchip now offers a third alternative: serial SRAM. This webinar focuses on the key benefits of SRAM including: small packages; 8 and 32 Kbyte options; and low power. After discussing the features of serial SRAM products, this seminar looks at the advantages of SRAM over traditional parallel RAM. Then it looks at an Internet radio application that uses serial SRAM to simplify the design and lower the system?s cost.
