Abstract

The 32-bit PIC32 architecture provides an easy and scalable solution to more memory and performance needs. This presentation provides a brief overview of PIC32 architecture. It starts with a high-level block diagram and walks through the key components to explain how PIC32 provides more performance. It focuses on architectural details that are common all PIC32 products.

Nilesh is an Applications Engineering Manager for the PIC32 Products. In his early years with Microchip, he was involved with PIC18 8-bit microcontrollers and several software solutions such as TCP/IP, ZigBee and CAN. Now, Nilesh is primarily involved with PIC32 products and related technologies. Nilesh has over fifteen years of experience ranging from multi-user business software development, PC-based & standalone hardware development to embedded systems development. Nilesh received his BSEE degree from the Gujarat University, India and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
