    5. HID Examples on Macintosh and Linux machines
Devices that implement the HID demos will enumerate successfully on both Linux and Macintosh based operating systems. Currently there is not an example program to interface these devices on Macintosh and Linux machines.

Under Mac, maybe it is a bit of work to use the native HID API.

But under Linux, it is not that difficult to modify the libusb example (change the VID/PID) to work with the HID examples. The HID bootloader may require more efforts.

    6. LibUSB example on Macintosh
Devices that implement the Simple HID demo will enumerate successfully on Macintosh based operating systems (provided the correct drivers are installed). Currently there is not an example program to communicate to these devices on these operating systems in this installation.

Hmm, Mac OS X has the libusb port. So it should not be too difficult to build the example under Mac OS X.

    3. CDC PC Examples in the Windows Vista 64-bit operating system

The CDC PC example code does not run as implemented on the 64-bit version of the Windows Vista operating system. The .NET SerialPort object does not appear to receive data as implemented in these examples.

My guess is that it will not work under Windows 7 64bit either. Maybe this is due to problems with the dotnet serial component.
