cant find plib.h component

hello, I'd like to use a demo of and USB host and it ask for plib.h so I installed pic32 legacy peripheral library so I actually got the file plib.h but all of its component are missing (adc10.h, bmx.h, etc ...).

After searching during an hour I found nothing so someone can tell me where can I download them ?

What PIC32 family are you using?
Did you install the library into the actual version folder for your compiler, not just the top XC32 folder?

    No.

Why do you guess and not simply answer this one: Did you install the library into the actual version folder for your compiler, not just the top XC32 folder?

And how do you find out that "all of its component are missing (adc10.h, bmx.h, etc ...)" ?

i got two version of this compiler and the file are present in the older one but not in the actual, all I did is run the exe and it never asked me a path so i dont know where it is but I think it not being install on the top xc32 folder because there no files/folders instead of the 2 versions of xC32 that i have.

I found out all component are mising because of an error while building and an empty research result while searching them through windows explorer

azurwastakenall I did is run the exe and it never asked me a path

    I think, it did.

The installer "PIC32 Legacy Peripheral Libraries - Windows" from here
    http://www.microchip.com/mplab/compilers
asks for the installation directory during installation, even if you have only one XC32 version installed.
In my case it proposes: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microchip\xc32\v1.40
which is "wrong", because I only have v1.43 installed.

I.e. it proposed the wrong directory, and if you simply accept, it will use that wrong path.
As a consequence you cannot use the peripheral library (without changing project paths)

Install it again into your "current" compiler directory.
I could imagine its a bug, but they won't fix it for the legacy PLIB.

Yes the files pressent in the older compiler.
In the new compiler, it is a seperate download for the libraries.
