Harmony Device Packages

How can I edit the available packages in the MHC Pin Table to add a new device package?

Reason I ask is that I downloaded the 'tmr_sys_wf32' demo from MicrochipDeveloper website and the packages listed in the demo do not include a TQFP-64 package (only TQFP-100, XBGA and VTLA).

Also, the 'default.mhc' file references "sys_ports.hconfig" but this file does not list any actual packages.

Any ideas?

I am using: Harmony v1.10, MPLABX v3.51, XC 1.42 on a MacBookPro running OSX Mavericks.

If a part is available in TQFP-100 package, then it won't fit into TQFP-64. There could be a similar PIC which can fit into it, but it will be a different part number and there will be more differences than just pin count.

Sorry, but that is kind of obvious.

My question was asking how to edit the existing list of device packages and add a new one in MHC.

That is not how it works.
You would need to add e new configuration to the Project. (not so simple, but can be done)
Then Select Your 64 pin chip.
Then configure the pins in MHC.

Or select one of the configurations and change the PIC to you 64 pin one.
