Hello :

This message is a continuation from the following blocked thread

www.microchip.com/forums/m833891.aspx#833891

I still get this error when compiling.

1) I run Mplab X as administrator.
2) I have all rights to delete, move , copy a create  files in K:/drive
3) I am also able to compile the project with the old MPLAB IDE,

so I still don´t understand why a Can´t compile the same project with the new mplabX

Any suggestions?

Regards

I wonder if you have tried changing the file name of "PuertoTeclado00 1V00..." to something without a space inn it ?
Edit: fix typo inn -> in

1) As JANickerson posted, try to remove spaces and characters like "[]()\t" from your directory files.
2) What is the absolute directory path where you have your MPLAB X directory (the one containing the nbproject)? If it is way deep, the GNU utilities such as rm and cp will start failing.
3) If you are using parallel make, try without it (go to Tools->Options, Embedded tab,  Project Options subtab:

4) We have seen that anti-virus software sometimes stops the make process from happening.

Removing spaces from name of folder holding the MPLAB-X project folder just fixed the following error using MPLAB X v5.40 with xc8 v2.20.

I was getting this error "Error -1073741819" at the end of the build that otherwise appeared to work fine, with one exception.  One of the .d files that the build just created couldn't be mv'd to a different file name with permissions denied.  It said ignored, but then build fails for obscure number mentioned.

Removed spaces from lower folder name and now build works.
