RF decoding 16F690 and 433.92 MHz
I am looking for guidelines to help me move forward.
I've got a Pickit 2 with the low pin count demo board. PIC 16F690 micro controller on it. I also have a RRQ8-433 Telecontrolli receiver attached to the board and connected to RA4 pin. I am using MPLAB X IDE v2.26 with XC8 c compiler and obviously I program in c. My transmitter is a remote control that has a PT2262 remote control encoder built in. I am trying to program the pic to receive push buttons from the remote control. The idea at the end is to control a small DC motor. but I am not there yet. I am trying to program the pic to receive the RF signal from my remote and decode it. I will turn Led2 and Led3 to simulate the button presses before I move to the motor part.
I've used the logic analyzer in the MPLAB 8 (the older version) to get the wave file when I press the buttons. I've been looking into OOK/ASK modulation. At this stage, I am stuck on how to continue next. Questions like: how do I understand the wave file and how do I read the data in the C code.
Could someone guide me on how to proceed?
