.gitignore for .X folder

Can someone point me to the recommended .gitignore setup for the .X folder contents?  Can't seem to find any recommendations or explanation.

    Hi!
Creating a .gitignore is a very personal process and depends strongly on the needs of the user and the project.

You can find in https://github.com/github/gitignore a lot of templates.

Frederico, you have just answered a very old thread from 2014.

Instead of taking some random ignore files from the Internet, your .gitignore file for MPLAB X should simply follow this list: https://microchipdeveloper.com/faq:72

Therefore, my .gitignore looks similar like this:

    # Ignoring files according to http://microchip.wikidot.com/faq:72
    /MYPROJECT.X/build/
    /MYPROJECT.X/dist/
#Ingoring private Makefiles, to create them open the MPLAB IDE or use the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microchip\MPLABX\<VERSION>\mplab_ide\bin\prjMakefilesGenerator.bat script
    /MYPROJECT.X/nbproject/Makefile-*
    /MYPROJECT.X/nbproject/Package-*
    /MYPROJECT.X/nbproject/private/

And yes, of course, you can exclude some things in this ignore list. For example, for a while, I had the .hex files in my commits.
