MPLABX Find matching brace

I'm on the latest MPLABX v2.00 and I have to post about the matching brace. God have I been missing that feature in the MPLABX Editor. Now before you all jump to respond the feature is there with Ctrl + Shift + '['  or some might say Ctrl + { but as soon as you switch the editor to the "Emacs" style of doing things then the feature is gone. Do people think that emacs can't find a matching brace?
I'm editing externally to MPLABX because of this. Be great to have it in the MPLABX though.

    Hello,
i know its a really old post, but i tried Ctrl + [ and it doesn't work.
Now i found out it's cause i have German keyboard layout and [ is on the 8 key and Ctrl + 8 this doesn't work.
And Ctrl + ü also doesn't work (ü key in German layout is [ in American layout).
If i switch Windows to American layout Ctrl + ü is working. But that's not the solution!?!
Does someone know the key combination for German keyboard layout?
    Thank you

    Hi,

I don't know how this would work with the layout you specified.

I do know, you can change (or add an alternative to) the combination by going to the menu Tools -> Options.
In the Keymap tab you can search for "Insertion Point to Matching Brace".

    Hope this helps.

I haven't found out how to do "Ctrl+OPEN_BRACKET" with a German keyboard. But TJvV is right: You can simply chose another shortcut. And I can confirm: This definitely works with a German keyboard.
