is it possible for you to include MCC support for pic16f877a? Thanks

Are you seriously doing a new design using that ancient part?
There are much cheaper, faster, easier to design around PIC16F parts now available.

MCC is very useful stuff!!!
I'm interested in generation of MSSP:SPI slave with interrupt module.

I would love to see more PIC24 series, like the PIC24F16KA102 for example.
And how often is the MCC updated?
Best regards.

KA102 is planned for the CQ2 release. Typically we plan to do 3 major releases and if required dot releases (bug fix releases) between them during the year. The actual number may vary.

I would like to see a configuration module for devices with BUILT-IN-RTCC.
Also, I would like to see a module for creating and RTCC with the timers.

The 16 bit devices which have RTCC as the device peripheral is already supported. Thank you for the feedback on supporting RTCC functionality using a timer.

I wonder why from the multitude of available PICs only PIC16 got chosen. I understand there are more devices on its way, but why the initial selection is PIC16?

I completely agree, it seems to me that the very first devices that should have been added are the ones that they have and do implement in development kits/boards. It would help support the products that they are already trying to market, thus making the product more appealing. But I am no marketing wiz so what do I know.

To me, the very first and most important feature that MCC MUST have is to support all Microchip micros. Where are all dsPICs? I like dsPIC33EP512GM706, but there is no support for them.

pipe-lining part support release is not a bad thing, as they become available as ready. Waiting for all all micros support to be ready means no one gets to benefit until they are all ready ?

Is there a timeline for pic18f4580 to be supported?
We are using these for an internal relay box and we'd like for non-embedded guys to be able to write apps; having Code Configurator support would help immensely.

Issue some test qualification on Graphic Composer. In some terms it`s still buggy using MPLABX 3.00 beta & Harmony 1.04.02.
For example dragging "Digital Meter" or "Static Text" into text area. It however can be compiled but system/MEB II gets screwed showing weird flickering background colors.
Then, "Frame" On/Off in "Picture" Widget is just inverted.
If you use Picture Widget, there are some weird and crappy dots/lines at the very bottom of LCD.

Make Graphic Composer more useful! Principal idea is fantastic though!

Hi Adrian,

We are working to add support for newer devices which we recommend using for new designs.  The PIC18F45K80 should be supported in the next release which is planned for Q3/Q4 this year.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi,
My suggestion is to have MCC supported for lots of unsupported controllers, for instance with usage of XC8 v1.35, PLIB is removed hence I had to use MCC to generate the code, but current version MCC doesn't support for the controller that I am using (PIC18F24J11), so here I need to stick with XC8 v1.34 where I have PLIB support.

Any plans for unsupported controllers?

Support for the PIC18F4550 should be high on the list, assuming I'm correct that this is a very popular part.

p.s. I started a thread asking about 4550 support before I saw this thread for collecting all suggestions. If someone wants to remove my 4550-specific thread because it's redundant, that's fine with me. I couldn't find a way to delete my own thread.

Hello,
in our High school () we have developed for student a PIC18 based board (information on the link -> picebs2.hevs.ch).
It will be great for our students to have the PIC18F87K22 included in the Code Configurator ;-)

Regards
