How to export variable array data into cvs file for further processing?

Hi

Please advise how to export variable data (array) into cvs based file where data is further analysed. The variable is selected by watch and listed in variable data array but can't see tool that allow export into cvs file for excel?

Is there useful tools within MPLABX for post data (from variable window under watch) from DSP processing, ie spectrum analyser for examination?

I know MPABX say is on the list but that was stated in 2010?

Thanks

Sorry, that feature will be implemented in a future release.
The workaround:
From the Watch window, note the Start Address, End Address and or size.
Open a Data window, File Registers or PIC32 Data Memory.
Select and Highlight the address areas above in the View.
Right click context menu - Export Table.
Verify the Address range, select Single Column if required.
Save as text file.

Thank, that should works.

Wish list for MPLABX: Improve DSP and fractional supports
(1) Spectrum display tools in debug, for example select array variable rather than watch window, select chart window.
(2) Include fractional type (and other math variable type?) on data type within Watch window.

DMCI an Available Plugin, downloaded from Main menu - Tools - Plugins
DMCI - Plugin Description
The Data Monitor and Control Interface (DMCI) provides dynamic input control of application variables in MPLAB IDE projects. Application-generated data can be viewed graphically using any of 4 dynamically-assignable graph windows.

We are still working on Fractional support.
What PIC family / device / compiler are you using ?

Install the DMCI plugin .Configure the variable and once the data is coming to the graph then right click on the graph and select Persistent Plot Data->Export->Export to CSV File
