dsPIC33FJ128GP804 and CAN startup

Hi,
 
We Need some startup help / verification before we start a project with dsPIC33FJ128GP804 and CAN (11 Bit idetifier)

Need recomondation / confirmation of Microchip Dev Board, C-Compiler and a smal test software to read and write parameters from a CAN device with 11 Bit identifier.

Probably a Explorer 16 Development Board, dsPIC33F Plug in Module and ECAN/LIN PICtail Plus Daughter Board.

But we can not find a suitable/workable adapter for the dsPIC33FJ128GP804 CPU type. There is no local Microchip supporter available. 
 
We are thankfull for any help.

    I need to make programm for dsPIC33FJ128GP706 and using Explorer 16 Board with dsPIC33FJ256GP710 PIM just for debugging. See no problem after debugging phase just to recompile for final target dsPIC33FJ128GP706.

    Hi
    This would be a good starting point for your project:
    - Explorer 16 Development Board
    - dsPIC33F Plug in Module
    - ECAN/LIN PICtail Plus Daughter Board
    - MPLAB C30 Compiler, trial version can be downloaded free for 60 days at www.microchip.com/c30
    - MPLAB IDE free at www.microchip.com/mplab
    - There is a lot of sample code to get started as well. check outt he following code examples:
    CE127 - Crosswire Communication between ECAN 1 and ECAN 2 modules
    CE128 - ECAN FIFO Receive Example
     
    - There is also an application note that you can use to get started. It is a good starting point and helps you understand how the module works with DMA.
     AN1249  ECAN Operation with DMA on dsPIC33F and PIC24H Devices
      

    But we can not find a suitable/workable adapter for the dsPIC33FJ128GP804 CPU type. 

    What adaper are you looking for? what is it that you want to achieve with this adapter?

    Could some one help me?
    I'm just compiling sample source code CE128_ECAN_FIFO_061008 on MPLAB x IDE V5.4 though, the out shows following errors. I've tried to find good answer in the forum but not solved yet...
    I'm using XC16 although the example recommend MPLAB C30. Must I use C30?

    I found how to import legacy project!
    In File -> Import you can import .mcp file. Then, you can compile the sample code without any errors!
     
    Now I'm trying to reconfigure the code into another PIC grin
