MPLAB X SAMR34 Support?
I previously was using an RN2903 Module on custom hardware with MPLAB X as my IDE and toolchain, with Harmony 3.
Quirky, but worked really well to set up FreeRTOS and all the peripherals.
I'm about 80% done w/ the project.
Then I learned that the WLR089U0 is probably the way to go, instead of the RN2903, and am spinning a new custom board with that instead.
Indeed, my hardware is much simpler.
However, I created a new MPLAB X project, and it even has all the SAMR34 variants to choose from, but there are no Harmony packs for it at all.
After creating the project, it would hang forever trying to load project properties.
So, it doesn't look like you can create a Harmony project with the SAMR34 at this time.
I'm developing on Ubuntu, so Atmel Studio isn't an option for me either.
Can someone point me in the right direction to get this set up?
Can I create a StandAlone Project, download FreeRTOS, the LoRaWAN stack, SAMR config files and go that way?
Can I create this project using a SAMD21, then make changes to the peripheral/drivers/pinouts to match the SAMR?
Can I create a base Atmel Studio project on my wife's Windoze box, and then import it into MPLAB X?
Or do I need to create all peripheral, pinouts, and drivers from scratch?
I really don't want to run VirtualBox for this one app...
Thanks in advance!
And @Microchip, if you could advise when SAMR support might be coming, that would be great!
