I was REALLY excited when i was told about it at last year's masters

    IIRC dsPIC core but 32bit, with FPU, USB and yada yada. Couldn't get much details (i remember i was complaining about the dsPIC33C lacking USB)

    Well that's what i asked..
    They said it stood for "Advanced" rather than "Application" (And it was an excuse for the letter... if "E" is enhanced, C is what?)
     
    besides, a DSP with an ARM core has no sense. IIRC this is a project several years old, way older than the atmel acquisition and that idiocy called "PIC32CM"

    The PIC24/dsPICs have long outgrown their 16-bitness, and if this has allowed them to get rid of the workaround kludges, then great.
