software develpment for AT89C51CC03CA

Hello,
I have an electronic board with an AT89C51CC03CA-RLTUM microcontroller that was programmed by a subcontractor. I would like to find development software and a programming and debugging probe for this microcontroller. I have to rewrite the code of this microcontroller. I could not find any information about this by doing research on the internet.

Thanks

Ludovic

I suggest asking the "subcontractor" for the information.

In my experience this information would have been delivered by the "subcontractor" as part of the job.

I believe you mean “should have“ I have found that it often isn’t.

It is possible that the original Hardware tools for that CPU is longer for sale The 8052 series it’s not as popular as it used to be.
I assume you checked for links on the microchip page. It is possible you may be able to find some used equipment on eBay.
IAR May still make a compiler. There is probably a lot of open source 8052 stuff that will probably support the CPU.

    NKurzman,
    You are quite correct.
Maybe those who contracted with the "subcontractor" did not ask for the information or were unwilling to pay for it.

My experience is that sometimes the subcontractor is supposed to supply the source code, but doesn’t. And the purchaser doesn’t ask. Until it is too late.

There is information about programming these older parts on this web page for the introductory embedded systems class at the University of Colorado - Boulder:
