USB2532 UART bridge

Hello. I'm using the USB2532 in an application that utilizes the UART bridge functionality. Is this UART bridge support CDC ACM? Other than initializing the UART bridge via configuration registers, is there anything I need to do to get it to support CDC ACM?

Using the USB2534 dev board, I've got the UART bridge enumerated. I can verify this by using USB Tree Viewer. See attached image 2.

However, it doesn't seem to support CDC ACM. See attached image 1. The new port doesn't seem to send a USB profile to the host with all relevant parameters. It also doesn't show up as a COM port in Device Manager.

Can you please let me know what else must be done to get this UART bridge functional.

Thanks,
Rob

    Hi roundrocktom,

I got the UART bridge up and running, but it clearly doesn't support CDC ACM, which is a shame. The Microchip ticket system confirmed this. I think it's a tad useless.
