PIC18F STARTER KIT 1 issue
Hello,
I’m using the starter kit 1 pic18 (18f46j50 and debugger is 18f67j50) but I need your help to solve an issue. I was programming the PIC as usual but an error message came up. Apparently there was a need to update the firmware into the MCU but I did not see the message and disconnected the card. Now the card is no longer recognized. What I need to do to reload the original program into the MCU ? Can I do this using ICSP on J6 or J1 connections? Where can I find the original firmware?

You seem to need support for the
DM180021 MPLAB® Starter Kit for PIC18F MCUs
.
Microchip no longer sells the DM180021 and is not available from their distributors.
I do not have one, perhaps another member of this forum does and will help.
Your best next step would be to use the Microchip support link and open a case.

It might be worth installing an older MPLAB X version, maybe as far back as 4.05 or 3.30? I'm taking a guess that support for the board might have got broken at some point?
