File Registers Window

Hi all,

I am using MPLABX 5.05 using a PIC18F47K40

I am not sure if I am using it wrong but using this sample assembler code...

 BANKSEL 0x08
 movlw 0xFF
 movwf 0x00,BANKED

I would expect FF to be placed in RAM location 0x800 but it shows up in location 0x000 in the File Registers window.

EDIT: Sorted, BANKSEL should be 0x800.

Couldn't see how to delete this post.

cheers

Tony

Correct. It expects the FULL address of the variable you are about to access.

You can't. You can edit the title of the first post to add "SOLVED" to it.
Your post may well help someone who makes the same mistake. :)
